When USA Hockey’s Jim Johannson passed away in January, many NHL players such as Detroit Red Wings center Dylan Larkin were in the middle of an unforgiving schedule that prevented them from properly saying good by to the beloved man called “JJ”
But once summer rolled around, Larkin — a product of the USA Hockey National Team Development Program that Johannson devoted so much time and energy to — thought there must be another way to honor him.
