DETROIT, MI -- An electrical worker died after falling 75 feet from a catwalk while working at the new Little Caesar's Arena construction site in Detroit Monday morning, Detroit fire officials say.
Detroit Deputy Fire Commissioner David Fornell said city EMS workers arrived about 8 a.m. to find a 46-year-old old man lying on the ground in cardiac arrest.
Other workers were performing CPR. Detroit EMS workers took over as they transported the man to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Fornell said the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will be conducting a thorough investigation into the death.
