NBA 2K17‘s launch is just around the corner, hitting the market on September 20th. Some consider 2K Launch Day to be the unofficial start of the basketball season as it drops just before training camps open up across the NBA.
Since there’s nothing 2K players can do but wait for the next four weeks or so for the release of the game, we’re going to build the anticipation for fans of the Detroit Pistons (at least the ones who plan on playing the game) with our player rating projections for the entire roster.
The Pistons entered the beginning of last season (both in the real world and the 2K world) rated lower than their actual performance would warrant, so we’re going to go over each player’s 2K16 opening and closing rating, as well as what we expect them to be rated in 2K17.
