Potential Detroit Pistons’ second-rounders begin workouts

The first round of the NBA draft gets most of the fanfare on draft day, but there can often be value found in the second round of the draft. Look no further than former Michigan State Spartan Draymond Green of the defending champion Golden State Warriors, taken with the fifth pick of the second round in the 2012 NBA draft.

While Green is certainly the exception to the rule, and most second round picks don’t end up having particularly impactful NBA careers, there’s no overlooking potential value that can be had in the later stages of the draft.
