Kobe Bryant announced in an efficiently written goodbye letter on The Players' Tribune that this season, his 20th, will be his last. In his post-game press conference after Sunday night's 4-for-20 showing vs. Indiana (thanks, by the way), Kobe talked about his decision to retire. I was following along live, but not really, because I was distracted by Twitter. Then I saw this tweet pop up:
Bryant told a story about how an extra Piston tried to be a third captain (you can only have 2) to shake his hand in the ref meeting.
