Auburn Hills — For the past few weeks, Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy has been lamenting his team’s defense and inability to get stops when it needs them. That included squandering an 18-point lead against the Sacramento Kings last week.
With the way the Pistons were playing offense in the first half on Wednesday, the defensive end wasn’t much of a worry.
They reached season highs for scoring the first quarter and first half behind Tobias Harris and Reggie Jackson — and cruised to a 118-95 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night at The Palace.
