Dwight Buycks and Luis Montero embrace designation with Drive, Pistons

GRAND RAPIDS - The NBA and the NBA G League have added clarity this season in the use of two-way players, which Dwight Buycks and Luis Montero said will help them with the Detroit Pistons and Grand Rapids Drive.

The two wear the designation that more clearly defines their use between the two teams. NBA rosters grew from 15 to 17 with the "two-way players" who can spend up to 45 days on an NBA roster.

"It's a real good opportunity because you can be up with the professionals and then you can come down her and be a leaders, let everyone know about winning and working hard every day, said Buycks, a 6-3 point guard and former collegiate at Marquette who played last season in China.
