Dan Gilbert's public bitterness extends to Indiana's haul in George trade

The shoe's on the other foot for Dan Gilbert now, but the Cleveland Cavaliers owner couldn't resist firing a shot about the trade that was never made.

"I will say that Indiana could've done better than it did," Gilbert said Wednesday when asked about his team's failed pursuit of Paul George.

According to ESPN, Cleveland thought it had a deal in place to acquire the All-Star, but the Pacers instead sent George to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Indiana was criticized for what it received -- Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis -- so Gilbert, on paper, isn't necessarily wrong.
