Matthew Stafford took his second and final sack of Thursday's blowout win over the Philadelphia Eagles with just under seven minutes to play and his team holding a 38-point lead.
It wasn't a big hit -- certainly nothing like the pounding he took earlier this year.
But for a team with no good option behind him, it's a wonder why Stafford was still in the game.
"There's no lead that's safe in this league, and particularly a team that can score in about three plays and etc.," Lions coach Jim Caldwell explained Sunday. "And then we let guys finish it out when they want to.
