ARLINGTON, Texas -- Fresh off his 101-yard outburst last week, Kerryon Johnson was rewarded with the first start of his young Lions career. Then he took the first handoff of the game and sliced through the Dallas defense for 32 yards.
Then, somehow, he got just eight more carries the rest of the way in a 26-24 loss Sunday against the Cowboys.
Johnson carried the ball three times on that opening series. Then he carried it just three more times the rest of the half, and at one point went nearly 16 minutes without touching the football.
