The Lions will send Quandre Diggs' holding penalty to NFL for review

The latest fourth-quarter Lions comeback had the moment it needed as Tracy Walker picked off a Jimmy Garoppolo pass and sprinted down the right sideline to set up the chance for yet another Matthew Stafford game-winning score.

But there was laundry on the field. A flag for defensive holding on Lions safety Quandre Diggs. The turnover was negated, and the Lions went on to lose.

It's over now, and the Lions lost 30-27 to the 49ers, and nothing is going to change that outcome.

But Detroit is planning to send the play into the league for review.
