Pistons opening a Performing Arts Center

Pistons owner Tom Gores enjoys halftime entertainment.

According to Ken Jimenez, entertainment manager for the Pistons, one day Gores thought it would be a good idea to start a performing arts school to help youth and young adults develop their dance moves.

The Pistons announced recently that the club is opening a Pistons Performing Arts Center (PAC) for those in the Metro Detroit community who were interested in training under the Pistons Entertainment programs, which are available in dance, cheer and gymnastics.

“The Performing Arts Center is a place where the public can go to learn different types of art forms,” Jimenez said last week.
