Where’s Zach?
The Lions’ locker room had been opened to reporters late Saturday afternoon, and the media masses headed for Zach Zenner’s cubicle. Another good game by the rookie running back in Friday night’s win at Jacksonville needed further analysis and comment from Zenner, who was absent – at least for the moment.
So where’s Zach?
“He’s with the President,” said Ameer Abdullah, who has developed a close relationship with his fellow rookie runner.
It was a joke, of course. It takes more than three preseason games to get an invitation to the White House.
