PHOENIX -- Nearly three months after the Detroit Lions' season ended with a wild-card playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks, the team still is being coy about coach Jim Caldwell's contract.
Both Caldwell and Lions general manager Bob Quinn declined to discuss his contract status at the NFL's annual spring meetings this week.
Caldwell is entering the final season of the four-year contract he signed in 2014, and the team has not said whether it plans to sign him to an extension.
"We’re not going to discuss anything dealing with the contracts," Caldwell said at the NFC coaches breakfast this morning.
