Detroit Lions WR Golden Tate dealing with AC joint sprain, per report

ALLEN PARK -- Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate is dealing with an AC joint sprain in his shoulder and will miss "a few weeks," NFL Network reported Monday.

Detroit's leading receiver exited Sunday's 52-38 road loss to the New Orleans Saints with what was labeled a shoulder injury. He was listed as questionable to return, but he did not come back, and a team equipment manager gathered up his belongings for him from the locker room.

Lions coach Jim Caldwell declined to specify Monday whether any of the injuries his team suffered were long-term issues.
