DETROIT LIONS TEAM UP WITH HAVEN ON LANDMARK DOMESTIC ABUSE PREVENTION EDUCATION PROGRAMMING

DETROIT— The Detroit Lions and HAVEN, Oakland County’s center for the prevention and treatment of domestic violence and sexual assault announced today an expansion of their relationship in the form of a $250,000 grant to solely fund the Redefine program in Oakland and Wayne counties over the course of three years. This partnership will be an additional component of the Detroit Lions Living for the City initiative, a program of Detroit Lions Charities.

“The Detroit Lions have long respected and supported HAVEN’s mission and the opportunity to fund a progressive program like Redefine is one we couldn’t be prouder to be a part of,” said Team President Tom Lewand.
