Andrew Luck's surprise retirement did not make Matthew Stafford consider his own mortality as a football player, but theDetroit Lions quarterback said Tuesday he respects Luck's decision to walk away from the NFL.
"I respect the hell out of Andrew," Stafford said. "He’s a great player in this league, a warrior out on the football field, a great player when he was healthy, and rolling.
