Detroit Lions free agent wide receiver Andre Roberts signed with the Atlanta Falcons early Tuesday, per ESPNs Dan Graziano. He joins the Falcons on a one year deal worth $1.8 million.
Roberts featured mainly as a return man for the Lions in his one year in Detroit. He scored his first two career punt return touchdowns in 2016, and was a key member of an impressive special teams unit. Despite playing in every game the receiver was rarely a member of the Lions offense. He only caught 14 passes last season, on 25 targets, for under 200 yards.
