Detroit Lions general manager Brad Holmes came out firing in his end-of-season press conference following the team’s highly successful 2023 campaign.
And whereas after the team’s NFC Championship loss, coach Dan Campbell warned that the journey back to the Conference Championship would not be guaranteed and could be twice as hard, Holmes came out with an entirely different message to fans.
“It’s only going to get better, okay. We’re only going to get better,” Holmes said. “I don’t want anybody to think that this was a one-shot, Cinderella magical journey that just happened.
