2015 Position Breakdown: Running back

The good: Theo Riddick emerged as one of the elite weapons out of the backfield in the passing game. He led all NFL running backs catching 80 passes on the year. Riddick forced teams to scheme against him, and even double team him in some cases, towards the end of the year.

Ameer Abdullah overcame some fumbling issues early on and showed some playmaking ability as both a runner and receiver. He averaged 4.7 yards per carry the second half of the season, after the team changed some blocking schemes and their play upfront was marginally better.
