Report: Michael Porter Jr. underwent a second back surgery, plans to play in upcoming NBA season

NBA.com’s Steve Aschburner is reporting that Denver Nuggets rookie forward, Michael Porter Jr. had “another surgery” last week.

F Michael Porter Jr., who slid to Denver at No. 14 in NBA Draft due to ongoing back issues, had another surgery last week. His camp believes latest procedure = breakthrough grasp of his herniated-disks problem. Not their plan to have him sit out 2018-19 season.

There is a lot to unpack here. First off, a second back surgery sounds awfully ominous.
