Former police officer fined for selling phony Broncos gear at flea market

A former Colorado Springs police officer pleaded guilty Wednesday to selling counterfeit Denver Broncos gear and other sports items at a metro-area flea market.

David Brian Henrichsen, 41, pleaded guilty in Adams District Court to one count of computer crime to commit theft, a felony, and was fined $7,500, according to an Adams County district attorney’s news release.

Henrichsen was the last defendant in the money-laundering and theft case. The counterfeit Broncos gear, along with other counterfeit sports gear, was sold at the Mile High Flea Market.

Henrichsen was prosecuted along with Marc Misko, 62; Mitchell Misko, 62; and Glenn Ford, 64, in the illegal enterprise, which operated from November 2006 until January 2015.
