SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Miami Dolphins coach Adam Gase helped guide Peyton Manning to one of the greatest single-season quarterbacking outputs in 2014 when the Broncos went 12-4 before a Super Bowl loss in New Jersey. But Gase, the former Broncos offensive coordinator, will get no free passes from Colorado.
Gase on Friday visited the Rockies spring clubhouse in Arizona and visited with new Colorado manager Bud Black, who introduced his guest to the team during a club meeting. Black welcomed him with a special video screening.
