Broncos outside linebacker Bradley Chubb said Tuesday he was surprised Sunday’s injury turned out to be a partially torn left ACL.
Chubb injured his knee early in the fourth quarter but returned to finish the game against the Jaguars.
“It happened with 14 minutes left in the fourth quarter,” Chubb said. “I went to the sidelines, told them I was feeling a little discomfort. They checked my ACL … it was perfectly fine. They said it was stable. I did a couple of running drills, pushed on guys to make sure I was planting into the ground well.
