75-year-old Cornell Green retires after 28 years of scouting for Broncos

Before fielding questions about draft decisions and the Broncos' newest members, general manager John Elway gave a veteran member of his staff a moment in the spotlight.

Cornell Green, 75, will retire Sunday, after 28 years of scouting for the Broncos.

"I'd like to make special mention of one very special person who's been here with the Broncos for a long time, and that's Cornell Green," Elway said, before handing Green an honorary Broncos jersey. "He could do it all. Cornell has been an unbelievable player for the Cowboys, an unbelievable scout for the Broncos and a big participant in what we've done for a long, long time.
