Last draft I advocated that Denver should take a shot on linebacker Jaylon Smith who was a top prospect before suffering an injury in his team’s bowl game. The Dallas Cowboys drafted him instead and, by all accounts, will reap the rewards of having a top-5 prospect start for them this year, after only having to give up a 2nd round pick.
The Denver Broncos have an opportunity to grab this year’s Jaylon Smith by taking a chance on Washington cornerback, Sidney Jones.
Sidney Jones was rated as draft guru Mike Mayock’s #1 corner in his pre-draft rankings, and was a consensus top-15 pick.
