WATCH: Peyton Manning Breaks Career Record for Passing Touchdowns

Broncos QB Peyton Manning came into Sunday night's game against the 49ers just three touchdowns shy of breaking Brett Favre's all-time record of 508 career TD passes.

Manning's first touchdown (career No. 507) came on Denver's first drive as he hit Emmanuel Sanders on a three yard crossing route.

The record-tying touchdown (No. 508) came on Denver's following drive, as Manning hit Wes Welker for a 39 yard catch and run down the sideline.

San Francisco's defense was able to force Denver into a three-and-out on the Broncos ensuing drive, but that didn't deter Manning.

The record came when he hit Demaryius Thomas with a seven yard pass with 3:09 left in the second quarter, forever etching his name in the NFL history books (not that it wasn't there already).

No. 509. Send that ball to Canton!

So far, Manning is 13/16 for 177 yards on the day to go along with his three touchdowns.

Oh yeah, and Denver's winning the game 21-3.
