The University of Maryland men’s team continues to live dangerously — and continues to find ways to remain unbeaten.
Gordon Wild capped a hat trick in the 107th minute Tuesday as the top-ranked Terrapins came from behind to defeat Delaware, 3-2, before 3,307 at Ludwig Field in College Park.
Buoyed by an 11th consecutive victory, four coming on golden goals, Maryland (14-0-2) will bid for its first undefeated regular season in 48 years Sunday at Michigan (3-9-4).
The last five triumphs have been by one goal and, like they did against Wisconsin on Oct. 14, the Terrapins needed to rebound from a second-half deficit.
