A few weeks ago, D.C. United’s first two matches of the 2017 regular season were announced. On Thursday, the full 34-game slate was unveiled.
Of note:
- Four of the first five matches — and seven of the first 11 — are at home. United opens March 4 against Sporting Kansas City.
- Between late May and late July, United will play eight of 11 on the road. The toughest stretch: July 1 at Montreal followed by July 4 at Dallas.
- With United sticking to its stated plan to play all 2018 home matches at the Buzzard Point venue, RFK Stadium’s regular season farewell is slated for Oct.
