Set piece defending remains D.C. United's kryptonite in 1-1 draw with the Colorado Rapids

The Black-and-Red conceded a third set piece goal in just three MLS games this season, as Fabian Espindola scored late to equalize

In search of their first win of 2016, in any competition, D.C. United were again undone by a new foe this season, as United conceded their third set piece goal in a 1-1 draw with the Colorado Rapids. Despite having the better chances of throughout 90 minutes, United fell behind halfway through the second half, as Dillon Powers headed home a Marco Pappa corner kick.

The Black-and-Red eventually responded, Fabian Espindola netted the equalizer 11 minutes later, but for a team in search of a win at home, the damage had already been done.
