Midfielder Ulises Segura of Costa Rica side Deportivo Saprissa may be a D.C. United target. Segura’s agent Jose Luis Rodriguez linked the versatile Saprissa midfielder to a move to MLS yesterday on Costa Rican radio. Segura, who turns 24 next month, could be a boost for United’s flagging attack, having put up 8 goals and 10 assists in the 2016/17 Costa Rican tournaments (over 51 games played during their split season format).
Like current United forward Jose Ortiz, Segura is making a push to become more of a regular with the Costa Rican national team.
