WINNIPEG - The Stars had an off day in Winnipeg on Saturday, but coach Ken Hitchcock was busy looking at film and scribbling down notes. Staff Writer Mike Heika stopped by for a brief chat:
Q: Despite the fact the team is 0-2-2 on this current six-game road trip, you have said on a couple of occasions that these challenges are “fun.” Do you really think this is fun?
Hitchcock: I do think it’s fun. I think it’s a lot of fun. I think anytime you can be involved in one of these races where every period, every shift matters so much, you really do grow quickly as an organization.
