Radek Faksa wants to pick up right where he left off.

The 22-year-old center was one of the Stars' best players in the playoffs last season, a performance that earned him a spot on the roster of the Czech Republic at the World Cup of Hockey.

But while Faksa suffered a concussion in Toronto after a hit from Team Canada's Ryan Getzlaf, and finished the tournament missing the final two games, he was in the lineup Wednesday and ready to go in a preseason game against the Colorado Avalanche.
