NHL Draft, Day 2: Jack Campbell trade reminds Stars sometimes even the most promising prospects don't pan out

The Stars' Saturday saw both the beginning of hockey potential and also the sometimes cruel end.

In taking five players on the second day of the NHL Draft in Buffalo, Dallas planted the seed that any one of these fresh faces could end up being the next Jamie Benn or John Klingberg. But, it also said goodbye to a prospect who was once seen as the future of the team, goalie Jack Campbell.

Campbell was the 11th overall pick in 2010, an expected sure thing to one day grab the net and follow in the footsteps of Marty Turco as a homegrown goalie.
