On what attracted him to signing an extension with the Stars following Dallas' trade with the Kings for his rights:
"It's obviously a really good team in a really good city and it seems like a good fit for both sides. Obviously the team has a lot of potential so you want to go somewhere where you're going to win and obviously Dallas is a great city on top of that so it kinda seemed like a great fit.
