There were many things that the Dallas Stars did wrong last season.
From goaltending and defensive issues, to collapsing late in the third period, the Stars have had many things to fix during this offseason.
Winning more overtime/shootout games is one of them.
Last season, the Stars were 8-10 in overtime/shootouts last season.

Now, this doesn’t seem too horrible of a record, but that’s because Dallas won their last five. They had originally started 3-10 in OT/SO games, and to be honest, most of those last five wins in overtime or a shootout was when it was too little, too late.
