Stars announce two-year contract extension for winger Curtis McKenzie

He will make $650,000 in the first year and $700,000 in the second year. First year is a two-way contract, meaning he would get paid at a rate of $115,000 for games in the minors. Second year is one-way, meaning he gets $700,000 wherever he plays.

FRISCO, Texas - Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has signed left wing Curtis McKenzie to a two-year contract. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

McKenzie, 24, made his National Hockey League debut in 2014-15, scoring four goals and posting five points (4-1=5) with 48 penalty minutes in 36 games with Dallas.
