Source: Stars agree to terms on one-year deal with Patrick Eaves at $1.15 million

The Stars have agreed to terms on a one-year contract extension with winger Patrick Eaves for $1.15 million, according to a source.

Eaves, 31, tallied 27 points (14 goals, 13 assists) in 47 games for the Stars last season. He missed large chunks of time with foot and ankle injuries, as well as a concussion. Eaves has battled injury problems, playing 10 games in 2011-12, 34 games in 2012-13, and 30 games in 2013-14.

He took a one-year deal with Dallas last season at $650,000 to prove himself, and earned the contract extension and raise.

Eaves was the Stars’ nominee for the Masterton Trophy.
