The Dallas Stars made one thing clear for Jhonas Enroth on Monday morning when they signed Antti Niemi. That one thing was that there would be no space for him on the roster anymore, and that he would definitely be searching for a new home come July 1st.
Well that day is here, and Jhonas Enroth is gone. The 27-year old goaltender left for the Los Angeles Kings on a one-year deal worth $1.25 million. He was scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent and moved quickly off the market.
Enroth will officially close the 4 1/2 month chapter of his career in Dallas with this move.
