Despite the Mavs high-quality depth at shooting guard, the Mavs should take a long, hard look at another one once free agency begins on July 1st. Ian Clark, currently a reserve guard on the Golden State Warriors, should be on the Mavs’ free agency radar. A talented shooter and confident ball handler, Clark is the ideal addition for the current state of the Mavericks.
The Mavs’ main priority this offseason should be to add as many young, up-and-coming players as possible. The difference between Clark and other young players is that Clark is quietly one of the better shooters in the NBA.
