Deron Williams came to the Mavericks on a bargain deal after being bought out by the Brooklyn Nets this summer. He had problems staying healthy his final two seasons with the Nets, and is already dealing with a calf issue that has limited him in training camp so far.
But despite the troubles he had in Brooklyn, Mavericks fans are cautiously optimistic about what he can add to the team.
