Dirk Nowitzki is getting the rest he needs, wants and deserves during this extended All-Star break.
The truth, however, is that he should be in Toronto playing in Sunday's All-Star Game.
He is, after all, the best player on a team that is, for the moment, solidly in the playoff mix in the Western Conference.
