MARCH 5, 2021 (DALLAS, TX) – To kick off Women’s History Month, the Dallas Mavericks announced a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Gift of Character partnership with Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas (GSNETX) that will power the regional organization’s DEI efforts in four key structural transformations – people, programs, processes and properties. The Mavs are investing $50,000 annually over a three-year period, for a total of $150,000.
Through the continuous support of the partnership, the region’s Girl Scouts will be given the tools to build the courage to stand up, the confidence to speak up and the character to take action against inequities in the world.
