Game 16: Mavs at Spurs

SAN ANTONIO — Since reeling off six straight wins in a row to ascend to nearly the top of the Southwest Division, the Dallas Mavericks haven’t been able to keep the momentum going in their last two games.

Falling to a 117-114 defeat Sunday in Oklahoma City after committing 17 turnovers in the loss, the Mavericks (9-6) hoped to bounce back in the second outing of their three-game road trip Tuesday night in Memphis. However, the Mavs wouldn’t be able to make the proper adjustments against a stingy Memphis defense, shooting just 39.0 percent as a team from the field and committing a season high-tying 19 turnovers during a 110-96 lopsided loss.
