When it comes to Dirk Nowitzki, there’s not much more that we can be surprised by. Not only is he the best player to ever wear the Dallas Mavericks uniform and possibly the best athlete the Dallas area has ever had, he is also as nice and humble and down-to-earth as can be. For that reason, it really isn’t surprising that he hosts a celebrity baseball game every year for the Heroes Foundation.
For those who are unfamiliar with Heroes, it is a Dallas-based foundation focused on giving kids the opportunity to learn and grow while also having a chance to play baseball and other sports.
