Chandler Parsons had an up-and-down, but overall pretty solid first year in Dallas before suffering a mysterious knee injury late in the regular season that cut his playoffs short and required surgery.
Not mysterious like Rajon Rondo‘s “back injury” that ended his tenure with the Mavericks, more like, “what’s really wrong with that knee?”.
That information has been kept under tight wraps by the Mavericks, and for a while there I’m not so sure even they knew. But when Parsons missed all but one postseason game against the Houston Rockets the always troubling “microfracture” word started being thrown around.
