The Dallas Mavericks got their man in DeAndre Jordan, the league’s best rebounder, one of the best shot blockers around, and imposing figure at the rim. He was an obvious candidate as a target for the Mavericks. Tyson Chandler was a fantastic fit in Dallas, and Jordan brings the same sort of skill set to the table just in a younger, meatier body.
But it’s sounding like the Mavericks have more in mind for him than just being Tyson Chandler 2.0.
In an appearance on The Ticket, team owner Mark Cuban shared some of the pitch used to lure Jordan to Dallas and their plans for him in Dallas.
