HOUSTON — The Dallas Mavericks were outscored by nine points in the third quarter of Game 3.
On Sunday in Game 4, they beat the Rockets by 11, which was a point of emphasis, Dirk Nowitzki said.
“We were up at half in Game 3 here, and I think within a few minutes they took the lead,” he said. “I think we were up nine, and the next thing you know they were up five in the third quarter. We talked about it, to at least hold the lead. Your goal is always to extend the lead, but it doesn’t always work against good teams.
