Power issue forces Cowboys to fly blind vs. Redskins

IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys were flying blind in Monday night’s win against the Washington Redskins.

The Cowboys did not have access to the photos on their Microsoft Surface tablets or the old-fashioned photos because of what the league deemed a power issue. What irked the Cowboys was the fact that the Redskins were able to use their tablets and had access to the photos into the second quarter.

Coach Jason Garrett spoke with director of officiating Dean Blandino on Tuesday.

“It’s a challenge,” Garrett said after the game. “It’s a challenge because you get so used to seeing those pictures and verifying your thoughts.
