On May 5th, 2015, the Dallas Cowboys decided to give their 2nd round selection (#60 overall), defensive end Randy Gregory the iconic number 94. Many in Cowboy Nation wondered if he could ever be worthy of #94.
There is Gregory’s highly publicized off the field issues that could disgrace the number. There are high expectations on and off the field due to it’s previous owner – linebacker / defensive end DeMarcus Ware.
Was Gregory’s number an indirect insult to the 2014 2nd round pick (#34 overall) – defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence?
